Mill Creek Idol

Liz Amoroso, 12, is the overall winner of Mill Creek Idol.

On Thursday, Feb. 10 students competed in Mill Creek Idol. The show was hosted by Alexandria Burkingstock, 12, and Alexandra Fox, 12. The hosts were accompanied by judges Romona Avery, Warren Clemens, and Teagrin Forde.

In the first act, Kayla Park, 12, performed Fingers Crossed by Lauren Spencer-Smith. Next was Rise Up by Andra Day performed by Kaitlyn Phillips, 12. Then Nathan Curtis, 11, performed Scientist by Coldplay. Then Kayla Benefield, 10, performed an original song called M.E. Concluding the first act was Brenna Stolz, 11, she performed When I was Your Man by Bruno Mars.

Following the first intermission was Elijah Johnson, 12, sang Listen by Beyonce’. Next was Christian Jones, 9, performing For Tonight by Giveon. Next song to be performed was Water Rising by Nashville Cast sung by Dylan Vaughn, 11. Next was Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs performed by Donnington Walters, 10. Finishing up the second act was Trinity Johnson, 9, performing Almost Is Never Enough by Ariana Grande.

Following the second intermission was Anna Fischer , 12, performing She Used To Be Mine by Sara Bareilles. Next song was Alone by Heart sung by Liz Amoroso, 12. Next was Maya Bright, 12, who performed Never Enough from The Greatest Showman. Then Dylan Gamino, 11, performed Butterflies by Ali Gate and Max Scheider. Finally, Alyssa Littlejohn, 9, sang Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish.

Following the contestants performances were special guest performances by Arden Vasquez, 12 and Quinn Dillards,12, who performed Somewhere Only We Know by Keane. Next was Alexandra Fox performing Thank You for The Music by Abba. Concluding all performances was Alexandria Burkingstock who performed Street by Street by Laufey.
