The boy’s basketball season started off with a win. Tuesday night was the boy’s and girl’s scrimmage. Last Tuesday, the boys played against Winder-Barrow here at Mill creek. After the unfortunate loss of the girls, the boy’s scrimmage started at 6:30.

At the end of the night, the varsity Mill Creek boys won 48-47. The score was cutting it close.

Nate Eroh,11, said the game was intense but fun. It felt good coming out with a win even if it was only by one point.”

The Hawks had a 15 point lead in the first quarter. Second-quarter leading up to halftime, the boys were tied 22 to 22.

There was no performance during this halftime, but the student section was filled with football players that will also be playing basketball after the falling football season. The boys were coming from football practice and came cheering the boys basketball team on from the beginning.

After halftime, the student section died down, however the parents were still cheering on the boys to win.
