On October 27, Mill Creek’s National Honors Society (NHS) hosted a community event called Trunk or Treat. This event took place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and was in the gravel lot. Not only was this event an opportunity to connect with the community, but it was also a service hour opportunity.
For NHS, doing a car was worth five hours, and donating candy could’ve gotten you up to five hours. A small bag was worth half an hour and a big bag was worth an hour. The event was a success with so many clubs that everyone ran out of candy towards the end.
