This December we had Mill Creeks 2023 Christmas Break from Dec. 18-Jan. 3. Many students and teachers were super excited for their breaks and the plans they had set. One teacher in particular, Brian Williamson, who teaches 11th grade Precalculus, and 12th grade Advanced Mathematical Decision Making, did something new this break.

Williamson started his break off with departing on a cruise to the Caribbean, he stated, “ We went on a cruise to the Caribbean this year. My wife’s grandmother passed away a few months ago and my mother-in-law didn’t want to be home for Christmas this year so we went on a cruise.”

He was with his family members for all of Christmas break. His family and him did many things while they were on the cruise such as trying new foods, meeting people from different countries and cultures, and doing fun things along the way, he stated, “We were with family the entire time.  I was with my in-law’s and we did a variety of activities on the cruise boat and at the islands.”

Williamson explained that his most favorite thing about his trip over the break was experiencing all new types of food, he replied, “My favorite thing was probably the nice dining meals and new variety of foods on the cruise.” Following Christmas, Williamson spent New Years Eve with his family and friends, he stated, “We went to a friend’s house for NYE and played card games, and ate dinner and just had a great time.”
