The Mill Creek Theater Department presented Boogie Mania Dec. 1-2. The show was directed by Sarah Lindahl and was choreographed by Anna Stauffer. The cast performed well known songs and brought the theater to life with their songs, dances, and acting.
Nagie Richard, 12, said, “We got to choose our songs and I wanted to perform to a song from my favorite musical.” Richard performed to, “Waiting For Life to Begin,” from Once On This Island. Richard said, “I would say my strength is singing,” she continues, “Knowing the musical helped me understand what the lyrics meant and how to play the role while singing. I didn’t want it to be just standing there awkwardly.”
