Homeroom Captains

The role of a homeroom captain is to help out teachers during their homeroom.  They are supposed to make things easier by communicating with the classroom as well as remind students about future events. In order to be a team captain you need have great communication skills and a passion for helping others.  What makes a good captain is responsibility, reliability and trustworthiness. Students need a captain where they can ask tons of questions to and someone to depend on.  Mill Creek faculty uses the homeroom captains to see what students think about Mill Creek, and what can be changed for next years. Participating as a homeroom captain has many benefits as well. Becoming a homeroom captain can enhance your leadership skills and abilities. Student captains can create a relationship that can be both personally and professionally rewarding, for gaining a better understanding of yourself and others.
