The Start Of Aidan Taylor’s Journey

As a fresh new school year starts, new teachers roll into Mill Creek. One of these new teachers you should get to know is named Aidan Taylor.

Taylor originally wanted to work in the field of business by going to Clemson University, but during the first semester he realized that he no longer wanted to work within the business industry.  As a result, he transferred to Mercer University and thought about what he wanted to do in life. Taylor discovered that one of the things he’s close to the most is reading and writing. This sparked his interest of becoming a teacher.

Taylor said, “I was a secondary education and English major. So they had it as a double major. That’s how their program was when I went there to be a English teacher.” Taylor loves what he does and takes pride in his interest. His interest  include helping out in his brothers band as a camera guy and creative writing in his free time.

The thing that got Taylor into writing in the first place was actually screen writing, “One of the main things that got me into English in the first place was screen writing. The moment I started screenwriting , I kind of saw all the words that fit to everything in life. And that made me just appreciate and interested in writing as a whole,” said Taylor.

He is a teacher that can connect to a student as if he were a student and is able to help as a teacher.  Sometimes when Taylor is teaching his students ask if he’s a student a lot due to his age and how young he looks.  He loves coming to school everyday and looking forward to his students there reactions and how their doing, “I look forward to seeing how students react to what we’re doing that day. Because that really is like the main thing a teacher gets out of teaching like if they go up everyday and the students reactions are all nothing like they might feel like they’re not even there,”  said Taylor  This teacher is truly a teacher, who clearly enjoys his work and loves working with kids.

I believe that this essay doesn’t vividly portray the exceptional qualities of this teacher.(though I don’t know if it’s possible for me to express that)
He is truly remarkable, demonstrating patience and a genuine concern for his students’ success.Regardless of how unpredictable his students may be he remains composed and understanding. His class room creates an environment that encourages open communication, actively listening to their concerns and providing support where necessary.
