2022 Fall Dance Concert

On Nov. 10-12, the Mill Creek Dance Department hosted their annual Fall Dance Concert. Starting off, fifth period danced to, “Disco Inferno,” from the Glee Cast and was choreographed by Mackenzie Vasquez, 12. Following, second period danced to, “Favorite Crime,” by Olivia Rodrigo and was choreographed by Reece Helms, 12. Next, fourth period danced to, “What Have You Done for Me Lately,” by Janet Jackson and was choreographed by  Vasquez. First period then danced to, “Love Shack,” from B 52s and was choreographed by Eden Kahiga, 12.

Seventh period danced to, “Rhythm Nation,” by Janet Jackson and was choreographed by Suzanne Muck. Fifth period danced to various Nicki Minaj songs choreographed by Elle Willis, 12. Second period danced to, “Tainted Love,” by Soft Cell and was choreographed by Helms. Fourth period danced to, “Don’t Stop Believing,” by Journey and was choreographed by Muck.

First period danced to, “Skyfall,” by Adele and was choreographed by Destinee Edwards, 12. Next, Jessica Casheba, 12; Genevieve Gateswright, 12; Helms; Kahiga; and Vasquez, choreographed and danced to, “Beat It,” by Michael Jackson. Seventh period followed and danced to, “Rule the World,” by Lorde and was choreographed by Willis. Finishing up Act One, was fifth period in which they danced to, “Stay,” by Sam Smith and was choreographed by Helms.

Starting off Act Two, the Mill Creek Varsity Dance Team danced to, “Half Light,” by the Banners and was choreographed by guest choreographers Jessica Padula and Jillain Padula. Then, the Mill Creek JV Dance Team danced to, “This Love,” by Taylor Swift and was choreographed by guest choreographer, Jennifer Starkman. Next, fourth period performed to, “Goodbye,” from Mimi Webb and was choreographed by Vasquez.

Following, Mackenzie Richards, 9, and Vasquez choreographed and performed a duet to, “Judas,” by Lady Gaga. First period followed and performed, “Trouble,” by Taylor Swift and was choreographed by Addison Zammit. Fifth period performed to, “Stream,” by Ed Sheeran and was choreographed by Casheba.

Seventh period danced to, “Vogue,” by Madonna and was choreographed by Willis. Next, Helms choreographed and performed a solo to the song, “Closure,” by Haylay Warner. Second period performed to, “A Little Party,” by Fergie and was choreographed by Muck. Next, fifth period performed to, “Maneater,” by Nelly Furtado and was choreographed by Julia McDonough.

Then, fourth period performed, “Perm,” by Bruno Mars and was choreographed by Xaria Holt with assistance from Vasquez. First period performed to, “Shimmy,” by Michael and DeeLee and was choreographed by Eden Kahiga. Finishing up the show, Mill Creek’s Dance Department danced to, “Let’s Boogie,” from various artists.
