Brendan Brannock, 12 , was accepted into the United States Military Academy (USMA) or formally known as West Point. He is one of 1200 high school seniors across the country to get accepted into the well-known academy.

West Point, however, was not the only school Brannock applied to. The list includes; Virginia Military Institute (VMI), and the Corps of Cadets at the University of North Georgia (UNG). He was also accepted into The Military College of South Carolina or commonly known as The Citadel.

Ever since Brannock was a sophomore, he set his sights on West Point. When Brannock received his acceptance letter, his reaction was, “ It’s definitely surreal, this is a process that I have been working on for about three years… It does feel very good to be one of only 1200 kids that are accepted every year. It’s very prideful, but also very humbling to see all of the other amazing kids that I will be going with.”
