Dallis Goodnight, 12, is this years Super Six for softball. This is her second year being the Super Six.

“I don’t ever try to become Super Six. I just work hard everyday to improve my skills in the weight room, cages, and on the field with my teammates. The accolades just come as a result,” Goodnight said.

Goodnight has played softball since she was three-years-old. Aside from playing softball, she loves helping others, enjoys painting/drawing, and being adventurous in nature. She also loves to learn in order to better herself in softball, school, and life.

This year, it is her last year at Mill Creek High School, and her last year with her teammates and coaches. The softball team was not able to play many games due to covid-19. However, playing the games this season was a bit different from the past seasons.

“The only differences are wearing a mask in the dugout and field house and not being able to shake the opponents hands after. Those two things don’t change the game, and I’m thankful to be able to just play the game I love,” Goodnight said.

After graduating, Goodnight will be attending the University of Alabama.

“I’m going to the University of Alabama to play softball, and I plan on majoring in kinesiology with a minor in food and nutrition,” Goodnight said.

Dallis Goodnight always does her best to improve her skills and get the best of what she enjoys the most. She will carry on with softball in her future after highschool.
