The Mall of Georgia opened back up on May 4 after being closed due to the social distancing rules put in place because of coronavirus.
“At the Mall of Georgia, most of the shops that did choose to open were devoid of customers,” writers J.D. Capelouto, Raisa Habersham, and Amanda C. Coyne from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said.
Student Audrey Main, 10, has mixed feelings about the reopening.
“I think it is a little too soon for the mall to be opening. On the other hand, I know businesses need to reopen, and I’m excited for things to go back to normal,” Main said.
