Chick-fil-A Spirit Night

The Chick-fil-A in Hamilton Mill is hosting a spirit night for the Mill Creek journalism program on March 5 from 5 p.m to 8 p.m.

Julianna Gracia, the manager that coordinates the spirit nights for the Chick-fil-A in Hamilton Mill, shared the company’s connection to the community.

“We do [spirit nights] to support the community in any way that we can, and it is mutually beneficial for both parties,” Gracia said.

According to the Chick-fil-A Hamilton Mill flyer, a minimum of $500 must be made for Chick-fil-A to be able to donate any of the profits to the journalism program. If sales are $1,000 or lower, 10 percent of the money will be donated to the journalism program, and if sales are anywhere above $1,000, 15 percent will be donated. To have a customer’s purchase count towards that total, a customer must mention at the cash register that he or she is there for the Mill Creek Journalism spirit night.

Gracia also mentioned that “getting to support your favorite club or school over some tasty food” is the best part about spirit nights.
