DeKalb County will host its annual Easter egg hunts starting the weekend of the 13. The events are free just bring a own basket.

  • Saturday, April 13, Decatur: The second annual “egg extravaganza” at Exchange Park (2771 Columbia Dr., Decatur, GA 30034, near Panthersville). This event will go on from 2-5 p.m., this event will host food vendors, face painting, bouncy houses, and an Easter bunny to take pictures with. The children will be split up into various age groups for the hunts.
  • Saturday, April 13, Brookhaven: This egg hunt is limited to children with special needs, the event will be held at Lynwood Park(3360 Osborne Road). It will feature special considerations for the visually and hearing impaired, as well as those in wheelchairs. The event will be from 10-12 a.m.
  • Saturday, April 13, Brookhaven: At, Brookhaven Park Dog Park(4158 Peachtree Road) there will be an even for dogs to search for eggs starting at 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 20, Tucker: The city will be hosting an event and scattering 1,500 eggs around Kelly Cofer Park (4259 N Park Drive). This will be the cities first egg hunt. The event is also split up by age group. The eggs will have toys, stickers and other treats inside.
  • Saturday, April 20, Brookhaven: The brookhaven annual “Easter Egg Scramble” will be hosted from 9-11 a.m at Blackburn Park  (3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road).  The event will host an Easter Bunny to take pictures with as well as a live musical performance before looking for eggs at 10:30 a.m. There will also be food trucks selling breakfast meals.
