Although the gas prices for Georgia drivers have been staying at a steady price, the price increase is not over yet. Georgia drivers are currently paying an average of about $2.61 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. That means $39.15 for only 15 gallons. Montrae Waiters is the spokesperson of the Auto Club Group (AAA) and states, ” While prices may continue to fluctuate, the springtime increase is not over yet. AAA forecasts the national average should peak at around $2.75 by Memorial Day weekend.”

The average daily prices have increased since last month. Last month, Metro Atlanta’s average was about five cents less than it is this month. The current average for Metro Atlanta is $2.65 per gallon.  (https://www.gwinnettdailypost.com/local/georgia-drivers-see-steady-prices-at-gas-pump-officials-say/article_6950f2b8-5a00-11e9-a1af-5336f5211e8d.html )
