iLead Applications are Open

iLead is accepting applications for students looking to become potential mentors for the 2019-20 school year.

According to the Mill Creek website, the application is open to rising juniors and seniors.

Jessica Reszel, a junior here at Mill Creek, is currently in the iLead program.

“For iLead, we go during sophomore and freshmen homeroom two times a week and do mini lessons with them,” Reszel said. “The lessons vary from how to be a successful student, gateway review, leadership and more.”

Reszel would recommend that people sign up for the program.

“I’d recommend [that] people go to iLead because you do get 40 service hours to put towards clubs, and missing half of lunch isn’t really that bad,” she said. “[I also enjoy] being able to have an influence on underclassmen and being able to help them out and tell them about my own experiences.”

Students who are interested in applying have until April 12 to do so, and they can find the application on the Mill Creek website.
