The Golden Globes aired on January 6 and a lot of fans and celebrities called it the night of surprises. The main surprise was that the movie, ‘A Star Is Born’, did not receive the Best Drama, but ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ did. ‘A Star Is Born’ was expected to win seven initial awards but ended up going home with only one.

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was a biographical movie about the popular British rock band, Queen, and its lead singer Freddie Mercury. Rami Malek played Mercury in the motion picture and ended up winning Best Actor. Accepting the award, Malek wanted to thank Mercury for giving him “the thrill of a lifetime.”
