On Saturday, Oct. 20, Little Mulberry Park in Dacula is hosting their first annual Halloween Howl 1k and 5k Fun Run to help support dogs. The fee to enter the 1k run is $15  and $30 for the 5k run. The entry fees will “go towards saving dogs, rehabilitating them, and placing them in new loving homes…” explains Active.com.

The 5k run will begin at 8 a.m. and the 1k run will start at 9 a.m.. Dogs are welcome to walk in the 1k run with their owners.

Costume contests will be held for adults, kids and their furry friends.

Halloween Howl T-Shirts will be guaranteed to runners who register after Oct. 15 but won’t be available on race day.

Participants who finish the 1k and 5k Fun Run will receive a “Pawsitivly awesome finishing medal” (Active.com) and 5k finishers will also receive a Halloween Howl T-Shirt.
